Key Responsibilities
Preparingandcookingmealstoestablishedqualityandpresentationstandards
Followingrecipes,portionrequirementsandkitchenproceduresconsistently
Organisingingredientsandcompletingmiseenplacebeforeservice
Managingmultiplecookingtasksefficientlyduringbusyperiods
Workingcloselywithseniorkitchenstaffandotherteammembers
Maintainingclean,sanitisedandwell-organisedpreparationandcookingareas
Checkingfoodquality,freshnessandappropriatestoragethroughoutkitchenoperations
Monitoringingredientavailabilityandcommunicatingstockrequirements
Followingfoodsafety,hygieneandworkplacesafetyproceduresatalltimes
Assistingwithsmoothkitchenserviceandrespondingappropriatelytocustomerrequirements
Cleaningandmaintainingkitchenequipmentandworkareas
Supportingotherkitchendutiesasrequiredtomaintainefficientdailyoperations
Requirements & Eligibility
Minimum1–2yearsofcommercial Cookexperience
Experienceworkinginabusyhospitalityorkitchenenvironment
Strongunderstandingoffoodpreparation,cookingandkitchenhygienepractices
Abilitytoconsistentlyfollowrecipesandestablishedprocedures
Goodorganisationalskillswiththeabilitytoprioritisetasksunderpressure
Reliable,responsibleandcommittedapproachtowork
Strongcommunicationandabilitytoworkcollaborativelywithinakitchenteam
Foodsafetycertificationorrelevantfoodsafetyknowledge
Flexibilitytoworkevenings,weekendsandpublicholidays
