An established, growing organisation is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team.

Working closely with senior finance and operational leaders, you’ll provide accurate management reporting, job costing and financial analysis to support business performance and decision-making.
The Role /n
/n
Prepare monthly management accounts and multi-site P&L; reporting
/n
Analyse financial performance, trends and budget variances
/n
Develop and report on key financial and operational KPIs
/n
Support month-end and year-end close
/n
Prepare journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
/n
Review job costing, revenue and project costs
/n
Build financial models to support commercial decisions
/n
Partner with operational managers across the business
/n
Assist with fixed assets, bank and GL reconciliations
/n
Support consolidated financial reporting and external audit
/n
Improve finance processes, reporting and controls
/n
Support and develop ERP reporting and system improvements
/n
About You /n
You’ll ideally have:
/n
/n
Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
/n
CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
/n
2+ years' commercial accounting experience
/n
Strong management accounting and analytical skills
/n
Experience with job costing highly regarded
/n
Advanced Excel skills
/n
Experience working with ERP systems
/n
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
/n
A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
/n
/n
Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial, construction or project-based workplace would be advantageous.
