Kartar Dhall Pty Ltd t/a Ballina's Indian Kitchen is seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. Our restaurant is located in the beautiful coastal town of Ballina, NSW, and is known for its authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes
Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to our high standards
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Monitor and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
Collaborate with the management team to create new menu items and specials
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
Continuously strive to improve and maintain the quality of food and service provided to our customers

Requirements:




Minimum of 12 months of similar experience as a Cook in a quick-paced restaurant setting
In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Attention to detail and passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are a plus
