Job Description
MacKellar is seeking an experiencedAuto Electricianto join our Roaming Excavator Crew.
This is a specialist role for someone who enjoys fault-finding, solving complex electrical issues and working across different mining operations.
You'll travel between sites to provide additional maintenance support, working closely with site teams to keep our excavator fleet operating safely and reliably.

$85 - $95 per hour (depending on experince)

Work across multiple Central Queensland mining operations
Specialist role supporting a fleet ofLiebherr hydraulic excavators
Variety of work across different sites and maintenance environments

The Role
Auto Electrical trade qualification(Australian-recognised)
Experience working on heavy mobile plant in a mining environment




Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience withLiebherr excavatorswill be highly regarded
Ability to work independently and alongside site-based maintenance teams
Strong safety focus and commitment to quality workmanship
Willingness and ability to travel between Central Queensland mine sites
