Being co-located within Petbarn also provides strong preventative healthcare engagement, excellent client accessibility, and a steady flow of patients requiring ongoing veterinary care.You'll be joining a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together and is committed to creating positive experiences for pets, their owners, and one another.About the RoleAs an experienced Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting our veterinarians, caring for patients, and helping maintain the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.Your responsibilities will include:Undertaking general nursing duties, including pre- and post-operative patient careAssisting veterinarians during consultations, treatments,



and proceduresMonitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recoveryCollecting pathology samples and performing diagnostic testingMedical and hospital nursingSurgical preparation and theatre assistanceNurse consulting and client educationMaintaining clinic hygiene, including surgical areas and equipmentSupporting reception and client care duties when requiredDelivering exceptional patient care and customer serviceThis is a hands-on role where your nursing skills and experience will be valued and utilised every day.About YouWe're looking for someone who:Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)Has 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experienceIs confident across both medical and surgical nursingDemonstrates strong anaesthetic monitoring and patient care skillsHas excellent animal handling abilitiesBrings strong communication and customer service skillsIs organised, reliable, and adaptableWorks well both independently and as part of a teamHas experience with RxWorks (desirable but not essential)Most importantly, you're passionate about veterinary nursing and enjoy building strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.Why Join Greencross?
