This hands-on role involves repairing, rebuilding and fabricating trailer components while working across a variety of trailer types and transport equipment.DutiesPerform trailer body repairs, rebuilds and structural fabrication work on a wide range of trailer types.Carry out MIG welding on predominantly steel components, including chassis, uprights and corner posts.Repair and replace trailer components such as curtain truck sections, crash bars, toolboxes,



underrun protection systems and nose cones.Complete basic electrical repairs and maintenance, including lighting systems.Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.Skills and experienceTrade qualification as a Body Builder, Panel Beater or similar heavy vehicle trade.Post-apprenticeship experience in trailer, heavy vehicle or transport equipment repairs.Strong MIG welding and steel fabrication skills.Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a small team environment.Pride in workmanship with solid attention to detail and the ability to manage job paperwork effectively.Benefits$42-$45 per hour with overtime available for skilled candidates.Monday to Friday roster with early starts and finishes, supporting work-life balance.Weekly pay and optional Saturday work for those seeking additional earnings.Supportive workshop culture with experienced mentors, ongoing training and career development opportunities.Additional informationCompetitive hourly rates + overtime opportunities + weekly payMonday to Friday schedule with early finishes and optional Saturday workSupportive team culture with training, mentorship and career development opportu
