Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes according to the menu and specific recipes.
- Collaborate with the head chef and other kitchen staff to plan and execute daily specials and menu changes.
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to the standards of the restaurant.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- Participate in menu planning, including seasonal and daily specials.
- Handle food storage and ensure all items are labeled and stored correctly.
- Respond to customer feedback and make adjustments to recipes as necessary.
- Work efficiently in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

Required Skills:




- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role in a hospitality setting.
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to create and execute dishes from various cuisines based on menu requirements.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Food safety and hygiene certification (e.g., Food Handling Certificate).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development in culinary practices.
