Registered Nurse (RN) – Casual Part-Time Position
Hyperbaric & IV Wellness - Armidale – Armidale NSW
We are looking for a caring, professional and reliable Registered Nurse to join our recent wellness clinic in Armidale.
Your first few weeks of employment will be primarily mobile, providing IV therapy weekly to two regular clients.
Your role will then build up to include further mobile work as well as clinic-based work.
Training will be provided.
About the role
Completing pre-treatment health screening and client consent
Performing IV cannulation and administering IV infusions
Monitoring clients throughout their treatment
Providing professional client education and care
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Following appropriate infection prevention and control procedures
Maintaining a clean, safe and professional treatment environment
About you
Caring, friendly and approachable
Professional and reliable
Confident working independently
Comfortable communicating with and educating clients
Confident with cannulation, or willing to undertake appropriate training
Interested in wellness and client care
Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
Willing to complete our required IV therapy training




Contractor requirements
This position is offered on an independent contractor basis.
The successful applicant must:
Hold a valid ABN
Provide their own current Public Liability Insurance
Provide their own Professional Indemnity Insurance
Provide certificates of currency for both insurance policies before commencing work
Submit an invoice for services provided
Hours
This is initially a casual, part-time contractor position, with approximately two-hour shifts twice per week.
Your first few weeks will be primarily mobile, providing IV therapy weekly to two regular clients.
As the role develops, additional mobile clients and clinic-based work will be introduced.
Exact days and times can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
As the clinic grows, there will be opportunities for additional hours.
This role may suit a Registered Nurse looking for flexible part-time work while maintaining their nursing registration and clinical skills.
