About the Role
As a Kitchen Hand/Food Services Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the hospital's food services operations.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you will assist with meal preparation, food distribution, kitchen sanitation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with meal preparation, plating, and food service activities
Delivering meals and beverages to patients in a friendly and skilled manner
Washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
Assisting with stock rotation and storage of food supplies
Adhering to food safety, infection control, and workplace health and safety requirements
Supporting the catering team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in food services, hospitality, catering, or a similar environment
A positive attitude and robust customer service skills
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Knowledge of food safety practices (desirable)
