Join Uber as a Brand Ambassador at Melbourne Airport for 2-week Compliance Project! n
As an Uber Brand Ambassador, you are the face of Uber at Australia's busiest travel hubs. Your mission is to deliver a world-class experience by ensuring every traveler's transition from the terminal to their ride is seamless, secure, and efficient.

You will act as the critical human touchpoint in our airport pickup zones, bridging the gap between riders, driver-partners, and our technology.

Role: Brand Ambassador
n
Duration: 14 days (2 weeks)
n
Shifts:
n
Monday-Friday
n
- 8am to 2pm
n
- 5pm to 11pm
n
Pay Rate: $*****p/hr + super (ordinary hours Mon-Fri)

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
n
Customer Experience & Rider Support
n
- Proactive Engagement: Warmly greet travelers as they arrive at the pickup zone, offering assistance before they even ask.
n
- Wayfinding & Education: Guide riders to the correct bay for their specific product (e.g., UberX, Comfort, XL) and explain how the pickup technology works to reduce confusion.
n
- Tech Assistance: troubleshoot basic app queries, assist with payment method updates, and ensure riders are ready to match with their driver instantly.
n
Zone Operations & Safety
n
- Flow Management: Maintain an organized pickup area by ensuring riders are able to locate their correct pickup zone or bay
n
- Safety Monitoring: Maintain high situational awareness to identify and report potential hazards, ensuring a safe environment for both pedestrians and vehicles.
n
- Site Presentation:



Ensure the pickup zone remains clean, presentable, and that all signage is clearly visible and correctly positioned.

Communication & Teamwork

- Real-time Collaboration: Maintain constant communication with shift leads and fellow ambassadors using internal tools to respond to operational challenges.
n
- Issue Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for operational issues, escalating complex incidents to management effectively and discreetly.
n

Operational Requirements

- Availability: Must be available to work during peak travel windows (holidays, weekends, and early mornings/late nights).
n
- Mobility: Comfortable standing and moving around an active outdoor curb area for the duration of a shift.
n
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to airport safety guidelines and Uber's brand standards at all times.
