The Role n
You'll support a customer to:
n
n
Access community activities and appointments
n
Participate in meaningful outings and experiences
n
Receive personal care with dignity and respect
n
Build confidence through consistent support
n
Exercise choice, control and independence wherever possible
n
n
You will also:
n
n
Provide full assistance with daily living and personal care tasks
n
Support PEG feeding requirements and daily routines
n
Complete secure 2:1 transfers and manual handling tasks
n
Follow support plans and proactive support strategies
n
Complete accurate documentation and progress notes
n
Support safe community participation
n

n
Attentive, observant and patient
n
Experienced supporting people with complex support needs
n
Confident with personal care and PEG feeding support
n
Experienced with transfers and manual handling
n
Comfortable working in community settings
n
Calm, proactive and safety focused
n
Reliable, resilient and accountable
n
Someone who enjoys engaging, chatting and building rapport
n

Behaviour Support and complex-support training

Medication and support-plan familiarisation

Access to experienced leaders and colleagues

You won't be expected to know everything on day one.
Essential Requirements n
n
Experience supporting people with complex disabilities or high support needs
n
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current Driver Licence
n
Experience with personal care, PEG feeding, transfers or manual handling is highly regarded
n
Strong documentation and communication skills
n
Commitment to customer-specific training and buddy shifts
n
