Workcontrol Operations Pty Ltd is a leading provider in the traffic management. We're currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join our team on a permanent full- time basis.

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Accounts & Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance and payroll functions. You'll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across payroll and accounts operations while contributing to the smooth running of our business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
· End-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legislation and Awards
n
· Accounts payable and receivable processing, reconciliations, and reporting
n
Previous experience in payroll and accounts administration (minimum 2 years essential)
n
· Assisting with month-end and year-end finance tasks
n
· General accounting and administrative support as required
n
Skills & Experience
n
· Previous experience in payroll and accounts administration (essential)
n
· Robust working knowledge of Xero Accounting Software




n
· Experience using Employment Hero / KeyPay (highly regarded)
n
· Sound understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, and PAYG requirements
n
· High attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organisational skills
n
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team
n
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
