The Teaching Initiative (TTI) is a boutique education staffing agency based in Bulimba, Brisbane. We place Casual Relief Teachers, early childhood educators and support staff in schools and early learning centres across Queensland, Current South Wales and Victoria.

We started TTI because educators deserve better. We pay higher rates than the industry standard, and we're known for being personal, responsive and easy to work with. We're now looking for a commercially minded Sales & Marketing Manager to help us grow our client base and tell our story to more schools and centres.
The Role
n
This is a full-time role reporting directly to the Director. You'll lead new business development and own TTI's marketing, working closely with our small office team, who manage scheduling, compliance, onboarding and candidate interviews.
What you'll be doing
n
Finding, approaching and winning new school and early learning centre clients across QLD, NSW and VIC
n
Building a strong sales pipeline through outreach, networking, meetings and site visits
n
Growing and keeping relationships with existing clients, and spotting chances to expand our services
n
Planning and running marketing campaigns across email, social media, LinkedIn and our website
n




Creating content for our website and Resource Library, including blogs, guides and case studies
n
Improving our online presence through SEO and website updates (we use Squarespace)
n
Building our brand with educators so we attract quality candidates
n
Tracking results and reporting on pipeline, conversions and campaign performance
n
Representing TTI at education events, conferences and expos
About you
n
Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or account management. Experience in recruitment, education or a services business is highly regarded
n
Hands-on marketing skills, including content, social media, email marketing and basic SEO
n
Confident on the phone and in person, and comfortable picking up the phone to a principal or centre director
n
Self-motivated and organised, and able to work on your own initiative in a small team
n
An excellent writer with an eye for detail
n
Experienced with a CRM and digital marketing tools
n
Knowledge of the Australian education or early childhood sector is a bonus
n
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain one
n
A driver's licence and willingness to travel when needed
