About the Role n
We're seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators to join our team on the Current England Solar Farm, located near Armidale, NSW, with opportunities to work on subsequent projects across Australia.
n
The role will involve operating excavators and other plant and machinery to support civil and electrical construction works, including trenching, backfilling, material handling and general site activities.
n
We welcome applications from experienced Final Trim & Non-GPS operators. Local candidates, and candidates travelling to the project on a roster basis.
n
This is a casual position with an immediate start.
n
n
Monday to Saturday or 20 & 8 roster.
n
Above award hourly rates and applicable penalty rates.
n
Skills and Experience n
n
Experienced Final Trim & Non-GPS operators only
n
Drivers Licence is essential.
n
HR Licence is desirable.
n




White Card is essential.
n
Machine operating licences such as
Excavator
and
Telehandler
are essential.
n
n
n
Demonstrated experience operating excavators and other civil plant and machinery, including trenching and civil construction works.
n
Ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
n
Must be an experienced, competent and safety-conscious plant operator.
n
Experience working on utility network projects, including Essential Energy or Energex, is highly desirable.
n
Ability to work effectively on large-scale construction projects while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.
n
Show good attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude.
n
Be fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
n
Able to pass daily breath testing and random drug testing on site.
