Bread Packers / Production Operators
to join our client's busy production team in
Bendigo
. These casual opportunities offer ongoing work across a
rotating 7-day roster
, with the potential for regular hours for the right candidates.

About the Role Working within a fast-paced bread production environment, you will be responsible for monitoring, packing, and quality checking bread products while ensuring production targets and safety standards are maintained.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Monitor bread slicing and packaging machinery
n
Conduct quality checks on finished products
n
Change packaging bags and adjust machine settings for different products
n
Pack bread manually during machine downtime
n
Collect, stack, and manage bypassed product
n
Load bread boxes onto storage shelves
n
Change slicer blades using appropriate safety equipment
n
Maintain a clean and protected work environment
n
Assist with general production duties as required
n
n
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or machine operation highly regarded
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
n




Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
Reliable with a strong work ethic
n
Ability to work a rotating 7-day roster
n
Commitment to workplace health and safety requirements
n
n
Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role that requires:
n

Constant standing throughout the shift
n
Frequent walking, bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying
n
Frequent handling of bread boxes weighing up to
7kg
n
Occasional lifting of items up to
20kg
n
Repetitive manual handling and firm gripping tasks
n
Ability to work in a noisy production environment around machinery
n
n
What You'll Need

Ability to complete an 8-hour shift with potential overtime
n
Steel cap safety boots
n
Ability to pass any required pre-employment checks
n
Availability for weekend and shift work as required
n
