Responsibilities:

Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, tax details, and deductions.

Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries for management review.

Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting.

Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within the Transport & Rail industry.
n
Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements in Australia.

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a quick-paced environment.
