Brown rice Noosa Civic is seeking a
Front of House
team member to join our vibrant restaurant in Noosaville, Queensland. This is a
casual position
that offers flexibility whilst delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests. You will be the face of our establishment, creating welcoming first impressions and ensuring every diner enjoys a memorable visit. Working in our fast-paced dining environment, you'll be part of a dynamic team committed to outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities n
Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing the seating process to optimise dining flow and customer comfort
n
Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
n
Serving food and beverages with professionalism, attention to detail and knowledge of menu items
n
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the dining area and service stations
n
Managing table turnover efficiently whilst ensuring guests feel unhurried and valued
n
Processing payments and managing transactions with accuracy and courtesy
n
Responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any concerns with professionalism and empathy
n
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery
n
Assisting with general restaurant setup, breakdown and restocking duties as required
What we're looking for n
Previous experience in a waiting or front-of-house hospitality role, ideally in a restaurant or casual dining environment
n




Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for customer service
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
n
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple tasks simultaneously
n
Reliability and professionalism with a positive, team-oriented attitude
n
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
n
Food handling knowledge or willingness to obtain certification
n
Preferably, experience working in an Asian cuisine restaurant or familiarity with sushi and Asian dining concepts
