Redpath Australia is seeking experienced Underground Bogger Operators to join our operations at the Federation Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term project with a respected mining contractor while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of underground production and development activities.
About the Role n
As a Bogger Operator, you will be responsible for the secure and efficient operation of underground load haul dump (LHD) equipment to support development, production and material handling activities across the mine.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Operate underground boggers/LHDs safely and efficiently
n
Muck development and production headings
n
Load and transport ore and waste material underground
n
Manage stockpiles, tipping locations and ore flow requirements
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
n
Maintain production targets while adhering to safety standards
n
Identify and report hazards,



incidents and equipment defects
n
Work closely with development, production and haulage crews
n
Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards underground
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous underground mining experience operating boggers/LHDs
n
Experience mucking development and production headings
n
Strong understanding of underground mining operations
n
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
n
Ability to work effectively within a high-performing team environment
n
Relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets
n
Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements
n
