Resthaven Mitcham Residential Services
is currently looking for an
Assistant Cook
to join their team on a part time basis working 7am - 3:30pm
n Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs.
n
Exercise your culinary prowess using quality fresh ingredients to create appealing menus for residents, with colour and texture appropriate for a diverse clientele. You will get to know your diners and their preferences, and take pride in contributing to their enjoyment of everyday life.

Essential Criteria
n
n




Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification
n
Experience in providing food handling and preparation services
n
Experience in Aged Care or a similar field, with a proven ability to lead a team and manage a kitchen.
n
Knowledge of food safety legislation, IDDSI and allergens
n
Possess a passionate, creative, and a can do attitude
n
Available to work permanent part time - 7:00am to 3:30pm
