About the Role
n
We're looking for an experienced Purchasing to lead our purchasing, storage and distribution functions. Reporting to General Manager , you'll make sure the right products are in the right place at the right time and at the right cost, while directing the Purchasing Officer.

Your key responsibilities:
n
n
Setting, rolling out and monitoring strategies, policies and plans for purchasing, storage and distribution
n
Developing and executing plans to keep stock at required levels whilst minimising cost
n
Negotiating supplier contracts to secure the right balance of quality, cost and delivery timelines
n
Reviewing and refining storage and inventory systems to ensure supply needs are met and stock levels stay under control
n
Maintaining tracking systems for all incoming and outgoing stock movements, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking happen at the optimal time
n
Overseeing the accurate recording of all purchasing, storage and distribution transactions
n




Directing and supervising the Purchasing Officer, and monitoring their performance
n
Ensuring products are delivered in line with Department Heads' requirements
n

Requirement
n
n
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
n
At least 5 - 6 years relevant working experience
n
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
n
Strong knowledge of hospitality supply chain, food and beverage procurement, and vendor management.
n
Proven experience in supplier management, cost control, and contract negotiation.
n
Familiarity with supply chain management and procurement systems.
n
Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and cost management practices.
n
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel / Word) and experience with PMS like Opera, Room master, Sun Finance, SCM, DOCMX, Oracle Finance, etc and other accounting software
n

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 per annum
n
