Contract Duration: 3 Months Experience: 7+ Years Role Overview
We are looking for an experiencedAutomation Test Engineerwith strong hands‐on expertise inPlaywright and Appiumto design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience in UI automation, mobile automation, API testing, test framework development, and CI/CD integration.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts usingPlaywrightfor web applications.
Develop and execute mobile automation tests usingAppiumfor Android and/or iOS applications.
Create reusable test components, utilities, page objects, and automation libraries.
Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end‐to‐end automation testing.
Identify test scenarios suitable for automation and improve overall automation coverage.
Perform API testing and integrate API validation into automation suites.
Integrate automated tests withCI/CD pipelinesusing tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Analyse automation failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Maintain test scripts and frameworks across application releases and environments.




Participate in test planning, estimation, test case reviews, and defect triage.
Generate and maintain automation test reports and provide testing status to stakeholders.
Follow best practices for test automation, coding standards, version control, and framework design.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands‐on experience inPlaywright automation.
Strong hands‐on experience inAppium mobile automation.
Experience automatingweb and mobile applications.
Experience withPage Object Model (POM)and reusable automation frameworks.
Good knowledge ofAPI testingand tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
Experience withGit/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.
Hands‐on experience withCI/CD integration.
Strong understanding ofSDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
Good troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Good to Have
Experience withAndroid and iOSautomation.
Experience with Selenium/Cypress.
Knowledge of Docker and containerised test execution.
Experience with performance or security testing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Familiarity with Jira and test management tools.
