TRS Resourcing is seeking a trade-qualifiedDiesel Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanicsfor a full-timenight shiftopportunity with an established heavy vehicle workshop in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
This position will suit an experienced mechanics who enjoys working onprime movers and heavy commercial vehiclesand is looking for stable, long-term employment with a consistent evening/night shift.
The position offers a5:00 PM start and applicable shift loadings on top of the base rate.

Working within an experienced workshop team, your responsibilities will include:
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Repairs to engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension and driveline components
Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
General mechanical repairs and component replacement




Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Accurately recording servicing and repair work
About You
To be considered for this position, you will require:
An Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Strong hands-on experience servicing and repairingprime movers and heavy vehicles
Sound diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Experience across a range of heavy vehicle systems
The ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Availability to work a afternoonshift commencing at 5:00 PM
You must also be able to provide:
