ABOUT THE ROLE
n
This is a Casual position. Shifts will be rostered between 6am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday. The role is based at HMAS Stirling, Garden Island Rockingham, WA.
n
As a Barista / Cafe All-Rounder, you will contribute to our goal of creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent customer service and amazing coffee.
n
In this role, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Consistently creating excellent customer experiences
n
Making great coffee
n
Managing the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are handling
n
Responding to customer queries, requests and concerns
n
Ordering stock and supplies
n




Opening and closing the outlet
n
n
ABOUT YOU
n
As someone who can get in and get the job done, you enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You are calm under pressure, yet also know how to have fun and enjoy the work you do.
n
To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
n
n
Previous experiences working in a high volume café, restaurant or fast food outlet
n
A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
n
Highly developed face to face customer service and communication skills
n
Barista and sandwich hand experience
n
Excellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards
n
Ability to operate POS terminals and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions efficiently and accurately
n
Reliability and ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently and remotely
n
A high standard of grooming and presentation as these are front of house roles
n
Ability to work early mornings
n
Ability to be a quick learner and recognize areas of improvement to the benefit of customers and the business
n
n
Due to security requirements, the successful candidate will need to undergo a Police Check, which we will pay for.
