About the Role
The Disability Support Worker will provide support with people living with complex trauma, high challenging behaviors, and/or high physical / clinical to align with their individual program plan.
n
Working with external care teams and families, the role is responsible for providing high-quality, responsive, and person-centered support to assist participants enhance their everyday living skills, gain access and participation in community to achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life and physical and mental health.

n
Supporting clients with personal care, community access, and daily routines
n
n
Working in participants' homes
or
in our purpose-built Vertical Villages (SIL/SDA)
n
n
Managing complex needs including behaviours of concern, trauma, forensic backgrounds,



and high clinical needs
n
n
Administering medication and following detailed health support plans
n
n
Implementing behaviour support plans and using de-escalation techniques
n
n
Providing meaningful, person-centred care to NDIS participants
n
n
Collaborating with clinicians, case workers, and families
n
n
About You
n
You will thrive and succeed in our team by bringing the following experience to this position:
n
n
n
Minimum of 6 months' experience in disability, aged care, mental health, or related fields
n
n
Certificate III/IV/ Individual Support, Aged Care, or similar (preferred)
n
n
Demonstrated experience with high physical and clinical needs, including medication administration
n
n
Solid understanding of professional boundaries, restrictive practices, and behaviour support
n
n
Effective written and verbal communication, including clear case note writing
n
n
Able to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure with minimal supervision
n
n
Strong interpersonal skills to work both autonomously and as part of a team
n
n
NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Driver's Licence, and insured vehicle
n
n
