It's an exciting time for us as we experience organic growth due to the efforts of our exceptional team. As a result, we are looking to expand our mining focussed Telecommunications Engineering team in our Perth office.

About the role
n
This position is a crucial position to our organisation and engineering team and as such we are looking for someone with experience in designing and delivering private telecommunications networks into the mining/resource industry. Be prepared to have your engineering skills challenged as you design advanced, fit for purpose private enterprise networks that include technologies such as transmission/ microwave/ voice mobile radio for the mining/oil and gas sector

This position is a vital role, and you may be engaged across several cutting-edge projects and engaged with multiple key clients.
n
Key Responsibilities will include:
n
Work as part of multidisciplined engineering team that delivers complex communications projects for our tier one mining clients.
n
n
Preparation and review of technical design documentation.
n
Design, manage and maintain standard documentation and specifications.
n
Design, develop and implement technical solutions to address network issues
n
Preparation of acceptance testing plans, procedures and test scripts.
n
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve reliable service incidents, including hardware & software faults.
n
Engage Root Cause Analysis for incidents and LTE Core and OAM network issues.
n




Communicate with key stakeholders and identify solutions for new services additions.
n
Work collaboratively with the Principal Consultant in carrying out contract negotiations regarding service delivery.
n
Lead FAT, SAT and commissioning of implemented solutions.
n
n
Skills and experience:
n
n
Minimum 5 years' experience in mission critical communication and operational technologies, specifically for the mining/oil and gas industry
n
Extensive knowledge of design, configuration, commission, testing integration and validation of wireless transmission systems such as microwave, Private LTE, voice mobile radio and mesh networks for the mining/oil and gas sector
n
Experience in creating documentation and reporting on design solutions
n
Experience reviewing documentation and design deliverables.
n
Experience utilising Root Cause Analysis techniques to troubleshoot and problem solve network issues.
n
Demonstrated ability to work as a team-oriented individual who is skilled in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
n
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and technical communication skills.
n
n
Qualifications and certifications
n
Bachelor degree or above in Telecommunications or Electronic engineering or the equivalent in experience.
n
Minimum five years experience in design of RF communication systems for the resource sector
n
