Job Description
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime may be available.
Key responsibilities n
n
Inspect vehicles and discuss reported problems with customers or the service team
n
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
n
Service and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling and other vehicle systems
n
Replace or repair worn and faulty components
n
Carry out scheduled maintenance and safety checks
n
Test vehicles after repairs to confirm they are operating correctly
n
Keep accurate records of inspections, diagnosis, repairs and parts used
n
Maintain a clean, safe workshop and follow workplace health and safety procedures
n




About you n
n
A current NSW Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate in the Motor Mechanic class, or an equivalent qualification recognised for this work
n
Relevant light vehicle mechanical experience
n
Your own mechanic's hand tools suitable for the role
n
Ability to diagnose faults and work safely and reliably
n
