The Lodge Jamberoo is part of The Maywild Group, which has 5 amazing Wedding Venues. We're hiring a full time Sous Chef to join our catering team and start immediately.
n
We're hiring a Sous Chef to work directly with the Head Chef and lead the kitchen team across both.
n
We're after someone who wants to stay and grow with the business. With five venues there's real room to move up.
n
What you'll do
n
Run the kitchen day to day with the Head Chef: communication, prep, service and timings
n
Plan production, set-ups, logistics and timings for each day's events with the team
n
Hold quality on every plate, across catering at the venues and at Lulus Resturant
n
Coach,



delegate and develop the team so it runs without you on every pass
n
WHS, hygiene and HACCP compliance
n
Manage suppliers, product quality and food costs
n
Help shape menus and catering systems, and push the food forward
n
What you need
n
3+ years in a production, events or high-volume kitchen, ideally with time as a Sous or senior CDP
n
A track record of leading by example and training chefs
n

$85k - $95k+ super
