Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a solid background in Windows, Linux and security hardening? We are seeking an experienced
OS Hardening Engineer
to support a large-scale initiative focused on improving the security posture of an enterprise server
environment.Responsibilities
n
n
Implement CIS Benchmark Level 1 hardening standards across Windows and Linux server environments.
n
Develop, update and test Puppet code to automate security configuration changes.
n
Manage code changes through Git and GitHub pull requests.
n
Assess the impact of security controls on applications and services.
n
Troubleshoot issues relating to authentication, permissions, services, networking and logging.
n
Support testing, validation and phased deployment activities.
n
Document exceptions, testing outcomes and operational considerations.
n
Essential Criteria n
n
Strong experience administering Windows Server and Linux environments.
n
Hands-on Puppet experience, including roles and profiles, Hiera and code reviews.
n
Practical Git/GitHub experience including branching, pull requests and version control.
n
Previous experience delivering OS hardening, security uplift or server baseline projects.
n
Strong troubleshooting capabilities across enterprise server environments.
