Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in
Heatherton, VIC
, specialising in the production of food ingredients, blends and mixes supplied to the meat processing industry.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a
Machine Operator
to join their production team. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone with food manufacturing experience who is comfortable operating machinery and performing manual handling tasks
About the Role: n
Monday to Friday, ongoing work
n
Day shift:
2 pm to 10 pm | $***** per hour + Super
n
Long‐term ongoing work with a view to permanency
n
Based in Heatherton, VIC
Duties: n
n
Operating and monitoring mixing machinery
n
Preparing and assembling ingredients for production
n
Loading ingredients into mixing equipment
n
Manually handling and tipping bags weighing up to 25kg
n
Operating the scaling machine as required
n
Rotating between machine operating, sealing, filling and packing duties
n
Following production recipes,



procedures and specifications
n
Ensuring products are prepared accurately and to required standards
n
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements
n
Maintaining a clean and organised production area
n
About you: n
n
Has full working rights in Australia
n
Previous food manufacturing experience
n
Experience operating production machinery is highly regarded
n
Comfortable with manual handling and lifting up to 25kg
n
Positive understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
n
Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands‐on production environment
n
Has reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
n
Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
n
