Job Description
We are seeking a high- performing Tax & SMSF Senior Accountant to join a well established accounting practice based in Norwest.
Qualifications & experience n
Be CA / CPA qualified (or nearing completion of the program)
n
5+ years' experience in Tax and SMSF within an accounting firm
n
Experience with clients across a variety of entity-types and industries
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
Client focused with solid commitment to quality service and client relationships
n
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting and financial systems like MYOB AO, XERO and CLASS
n
Excellent technical tax ability
n
Be able to work independently
Tasks & responsibilities n
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entities including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs
n
Complete end-to-end accounting, tax and compliance actions for self-managed super fund clients including experience with CLASS.
n
Prepare clear and concise work papers
n
Preparing FBT, BASs and IASs
n
Perform tax planning for clients
n
Liaise with clients, ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies
