We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Aged Care Support Worker in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and surrounding areas

As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while respecting their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to older individuals in accordance with their individual care plans.
n
Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene.
n
Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
n
Work collaboratively with other team members and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in their condition to the appropriate personnel.
n
Adhere to all safety and quality care standards, ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff.
n
Respect client confidentiality and uphold skilled boundaries at all times.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
n
Experience supporting older people and seniors in community and home settings.
n
Experience working with people living with disability and complex needs.
n
Competency in using smartphones and mobile devices with internet access.
n
Commitment to quality care and a safety-first approach.
n
Understanding of professional boundaries, privacy, and confidentiality.
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
