Mt Bera Vineyards is seeking an experienced and passionate
Restaurant Manager
to lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant. Nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, Mt Bera is renowned for its organic and biodynamic wines, exceptional food, warm hospitality, and unique cellar door experiences.

This is a
full-time position
overseeing a
7-day lunch service operation
, with occasional evening work required for private functions, special events, and exclusive dining experiences.
n

nAbout the Role n
n
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and successful operation of the restaurant while developing a knowledgeable and service‐focused team.
n
nKey Responsibilities n
n
Duties include, but are not limited to:
n
n
n
n
Managing the daily operation of the restaurant and front‐of‐house team.
n
n
Training, mentoring and developing restaurant staff.
n
n
Delivering ongoing training on food, beverages, wine, and service standards.
n
n
Maintaining exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction standards.
n
n
Conducting stock takes and inventory management.
n
n
Ordering restaurant beverages, supplies and operational consumables.
n
n
Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
n
n
Liaising with the Venue Manager regarding menus, promotions,



experiences, and service offerings.
n
n
Hosting and executing wine tasting and degustation experiences.
n
n
Assisting with the planning and delivery of functions, events and special experiences.
n
n
Ensuring compliance with food safety, RSA and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
n
Managing labour costs, staffing levels and operational efficiencies.
n
n
n
nAbout You n
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
n
n
Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leader.
n
n
Outstanding leadership and people management skills.
n
n
Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities.
n
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
n
A passion for hospitality, food and wine.
n
n
Experience in staff training and team development.
n
n
The ability to work collaboratively across departments.
n
n
Current RSA certification and Responsible Persons Badge.
n
n
Wine knowledge is highly regarded and preferred.
n
n
n
