A Northern Territory community care organisation needs a Registered Nurse to strengthen its Darwin home-care team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The employer's clients are older people receiving aged care in their own homes and people supported through the NDIS, and the nurse it hires will help each of them stay healthy, well and as independent as possible.
The employer needs someone who plans care around the person rather than the routine, adapting every visit to that client's goals.
It is open to offering visa sponsorship for the right candidate, and it wants a nurse ready to move to the Territory for the long term.

Provide nursing care to the employer's aged care clients at home and to NDIS participants
Assess clients clinically and build and review their care plans
Manage medication support and report changes in a client's health
Keep complete clinical documentation
Liaise with families, carers and health professionals while protecting client choice, dignity and independence
Registered Nurse holding current AHPRA registration
Relevant background in community nursing, aged care or disability services
Robust skills across clinical assessment, communication and organisation, with the confidence to work independently in a community setting
A compassionate approach and a commitment to safe, person-centred care
Willingness to move to the Northern Territory
