Relay Labour Hire
is seeking experienced, qualified carpenters for upcoming residential and commercial projects across Melbourne.
n
We're looking for carpenters with at least 5 years' experience, strong attention to detail and proven skills in timber and steel framing, lock-up and fix.
n

ABOUT THE WORK n
Depending on the project, duties may include:
n

Timber and steel framing
n
Lock-up and fix carpentry
n
Residential renovations and new builds
n
Commercial carpentry and fit-outs
n
Reading plans and completing work to specifications
n
Working safely and maintaining a tidy site
n
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE n
n
Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience
n
Certificate III in Carpentry
n
Current White Card valid for work in Victoria
n
Own tools,



with electrical equipment tested and tagged where requiredAbility to work independently and alongside other trades
n
Reliable attendance, punctuality and clear communication
n
Robust workmanship and attention to detail
n
Australian working rights
n
Driver's licence and reliable transport preferred
n
Working with Children Check advantageous for relevant sites
n
PAY & OPPORTUNITIES n
n
$50–$53 per hour + super, depending on experience and assignment
n
Applicable overtime rates and allowances
n
Opportunities for further assignments based on performance and client demand
n
Potential for longer-term placements where available
n
Support from the Relay Labour Hire team throughout your placement
n
