Undergraduate Accountant (Construction Industry) n
Working closely with our qualified accountant and management team, you will gain practical hands‐on experience across a broad range of accounting and financial functions within the construction industry. This role provides exposure to project costing, management reporting, payroll support, financial analysis and month‐end accounting processes.

As your skills and experience develop, you will be given increasing responsibility and opportunities to contribute to the financial management of construction projects and business operations
Key responsibilities n
n
Assist with month‐end accounting activities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations
n
Support the preparation of monthly management and financial reports
n
Assist with project costing, budgeting and cost tracking across construction projects
n
Analyse project performance and provide financial insights to management
n
Prepare and reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
n
Assist with payroll processing and payroll reconciliations as required
n
Support the preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax, TPAR and other statutory reporting obligations
n
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation
n
Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and reporting systems
n




Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Finance and Management team
n
About you n
n
Current enrolment in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
n
Completion of at least your first year of university studies preferred
n
Strong numerical and analytical skills
n
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
Well‐developed organisational and time management abilities
n
A willingness to learn and develop professionally
n
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
