Toogoom Pharmacy is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dispensary Assistant/Pharmacy Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.

We are a busy community pharmacy located in the heart of the Toogoom community, committed to providing outstanding customer service and professional healthcare advice to our patients.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including:

Assisting customers with over-the-counter products and general enquiries
n
Serving customers at the register
n
Stock replenishment and merchandising
n
Receiving and unpacking deliveries
n
Maintaining a clean and organised pharmacy environment
n
Supporting our pharmacists and dispensary team with day-to-day operations
n
n
As a Dispensary Assistant, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including:
n
n
Assist pharmacists with the preparation and processing of prescriptions
n
Manage dispensary stock, including ordering, unpacking and stock rotation
n
Maintain an organised and efficient dispensary
n
Assist with prescription filing and administrative tasks
n




Provide friendly and professional customer service
n
Support the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team with day-to-day operations
n
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail at all times
n
About You n
We are looking for someone who:

Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Enjoys helping people and delivering excellent customer service
n
Is reliable, punctual and well-presented
n
Works well as part of a team
n
Has good communication skills
n
Is willing to learn and take initiative
n
n
Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right applicant.
