A Perth-based advanced manufacturer is adding two trade-qualified welders to its fabrication team on a full-time, ongoing basis.
The business is scaling up its facilities to keep pace with orders for modular critical power infrastructure and AI data centre solutions, and it needs welders who can produce compliant work.
What the employer needs most is reliable structural and module welding.
Skid bases, frames and enclosures are fabricated against engineering drawings and weld maps, and the finished welds must meet a high standard.
Candidates should be comfortable in flat, horizontal and vertical positions and able to pass a 2F test in mild steel.
The roster is 40.5 hours each week: Monday to Thursday from 6:00am until 3:30pm, then Friday from 6:00am until 12:30pm.
The employer has said visa sponsorship is available for the right overseas candidates.
Employers in fabrication look for evidence quickly, so put your trade qualification, wire types and weld positions near the top of your CV.
