As a Disability Support Worker with All Types of Care Queensland, you will be assisting clients in Supported Independent Living, Community Access, and Sleepover shifts. You'll have the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of our clients by providing in-home support to help individuals achieve greater independence, facilitating their engagement in community activities, and empowering them to explore exciting opportunities within their local community.
Key responsibilities n

Provide in-home support to help individuals achieve greater independence
n
Facilitate client engagement in community activities
n
Empower clients to explore opportunities within their local community
n
Assist clients in Supported Independent Living settings
n
Support clients during Community Access activities
n
Collaborate and provide assistance to clients demonstrating challenging behaviours
n
About you n
n
A readiness to collaborate and provide assistance to clients demonstrating challenging behaviours
n
Previous experience in this field is considered an additional advantage
n
A proven track record of resilience and compassion
n
A robust team-oriented mindset

A positive attitude and a can-do spirit when approaching challenges

Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
n
Flexibility and adaptability when it comes to client schedules and changes
n
A valid driver's license
n
Current car registration and insurance
n
NDIS Workers screening card (Yellow card) or the ability to obtain one
n
Working with children check (Blue card) or the ability to obtain one
n
Current police check or the ability to obtain one
n
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or the ability to obtain one
n
