The Opportunities
Opportunities are available for
Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses
to join our 50-bed Orthopaedic, ENT and Paediatric ward at Epworth Eastern in Box Hill.
Located within the expanded East Wing Tower, the ward offers a contemporary clinical environment, with flexible
full-time and part-time permanent
opportunities available.
You will join a supportive and highly collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.
Demonstrating clinical excellence, flexibility and a willingness to further develop your skills, you will have access to professional development and education opportunities while working within a multidisciplinary team.
You will make an impact by:
Providing high-quality, patient-centred nursing care and an exceptional patient experience
Applying a reflective, critical thinking and evidence-based approach to clinical care
Working collaboratively with nursing colleagues, Visiting Medical Officers and the broader multidisciplinary team




Supporting safe and effective care for surgical patients in a busy acute environment
About You
To be successful in this role:
You are passionate about delivering patient-centred care and achieving high-quality clinical outcomes.
You bring a confident and skilled communication style that enables you to build strong rapport with patients, their families, VMOs and colleagues.
With well-developed organisational and time management skills, you can effectively prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced clinical environment while remaining flexible, team-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
You will have:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
A minimum of 2 years' acute or surgical nursing experience
Orthopaedic experience highly regarded
Experience in ENT and/or Paediatrics also highly regarded
Strong clinical skills in caring for surgical patients
Competency and confidence in managing acute clinical situations

Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility with 14 theatres and expansion of ICU to 12 beds.
Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.

The annual salary for full time
Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732 - $107,669
+ super + entitlementsand
Enrolled Nurses – AUD $74,518 - $82,550
+ super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time).
