The Mission
n
We are seeking an experienced and passionate
Full-Stack Software Engineer
with a minimum of 5 years of development experience to join our dynamic Experiences & B2B Platform teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
Node.js
,
TypeScript
, and
React.js
, and a deep understanding of both relational and non-relational databases. This role will be integral in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient applications.
What You'll Don
n
Application Development:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
n
Database Management:
Work with both relational (e.g MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., Dynamodb, Redis) databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
n
Testing:
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and robustness. Experience with frameworks such as Jest, or similar.
n
Framework Utilisation:
Leverage modern frameworks like NestJS and Next.js to build scalable and maintainable backend and frontend architectures.
n
Code Review:
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code standards.
n
Agile Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment,



contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
n
Performance Optimisation:
Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
n
Continuous Integration & Deployment:
Work with CI/CD tools to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
n
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements, share knowledge, and deliver high-quality software
n
AI Spec-Driven Development:
Write clear specifications and technical design documents that AI coding agents implement from, then direct, review and test what the agents produce.
n
What We're Looking For:n
n
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of professional development experience.
n
Proficiency:
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
n
Database Skills:
Extensive experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
n
Testing:
Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests.
n
Frameworks:
Experience with frameworks like NestJS and Next.js.
n
Methodologies:
Solid experience working with Agile methodologies
n
Version Control:
Proficient in using Git for version control.
n
Problem Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
n
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
n
Team Player:




Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
n
AI-Assisted Development:
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, and a spec-driven way of working: writing clear specifications and technical designs first, then directing, reviewing and testing what the agents produce.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cloud Experience:
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or similar is a plus.
n
DevOps Knowledge:
Familiarity with DevOps practices, containerization (Docker) is a plus.
n
Microservices Architecture:
Experience in designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
n
CI/CD Tools:
Experience with CI/CD tools like Buildkite or similar.
