The Dawn Patrol: Delivery Driver / Brand Ambassador

The Most Important Job You’ve Never Considered (Early Bird Gets the Bread)

Location: Canberra, ACT (Starting from our main production site)

Work Type: Full Time and Casual Roles (Minimum 1 weekend day required)

The Reality of the Job

We’re going to be upfront about this: Being our Delivery Driver is not for everyone.

- The Starts are EARLY. We’re talking pre-dawn, 4:00 AM starts, seven days a week. You need to be a genuine early bird who thrives in the quiet of the morning.
- The Weather Doesn’t Care. Rain, frost, or the peak of a Canberra summer—the bread still needs to be delivered on time. You must be reliable, no matter what.
- It’s a Hustle. You’ll be loading and unloading vans, checking orders, and hitting multiple stops efficiently. You need energy and a sense of urgency.

The payoff? Total freedom, amazing perks, and the satisfaction of being the most important link between our bakery and our customers.

The Rewards: Why You’ll Love Being the Dawn Patrol

- Autonomy: Your day starts early, but once you’re on the road, you’re your own boss. Enjoy the open road and the peace of the city waking up.
- The Perks: Reliable, tangible rewards for being an essential part of the Three Mills team. This includes free sourdough, coffee, and pastries!
- Early Finish: Your shift often wraps up by 8am to midday, leaving you the entire afternoon for study, family, hobbies,

or just enjoying the rest of the day.

More Than Just Driving: You are Our Brand Ambassador

You are often the first point of contact our wholesale clients (cafes, restaurants) have each day. You’re not just moving product; you’re Leading with Generosity and Creating Joy with every delivery.

We Need You To:

- Master Efficiency: Load and check orders with meticulous Attention to Detail to ensure our clients get exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.
- Be a Friendly Face: Confidently and kindly communicate with clients. You’ll need to know and be enthusiastic about our artisan products.
- Stay Organised: Manage your route, handle paperwork, and maintain a clean, tidy van that represents our brand.
- Problem Solve: Use your initiative to overcome unexpected traffic, parking, or delivery issues—this is where you get to Rethink & Improve every morning.
