Cranfield Recruitment are partnering with an exciting and innovative manufacturing client based centrally on the Gold Coast in Arundel.

We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join the team on a ongoing contract, commencing asap .

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on state-of-the-art plant equipment used within the food production industry, in a up-to-date facility with a supportive and skilled team.

The Role

Working as part of the production and installation team, your duties will include:

- Assembly and installation of mechanical plant equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Fitting, aligning, and assembling components to specification
- Use of hand and power tools in a workshop environment
- Assisting with testing, fault finding, and adjustments
- Supporting the wider team with general mechanical duties as required

Hours & Pay

- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 3:30pm
- $55 per hour + super
- Weekly pay cycle





About You

- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (or relevant experience)
- Experience in manufacturing, plant equipment, or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
