Greville Consulting

Adelaide

Major infrastructure projects run on the people behind them. So does Greville.

Greville Consulting is a team of engineers, project managers and specialists who help build the roads, rail lines, tunnels, bridges and utilities that Australian communities rely on every day. We work alongside major construction companies and government to plan, win and deliver large-scale projects, from early design and tendering through to construction and completion.

Our people have worked on some of the country's biggest projects, including South Australia's $15 billion Torrens to Darlington motorway and Melbourne's North East Link tunnels. With offices in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, we've grown to a team of close to 40.

What sets us apart is how we work. Many of our senior leaders have worked together for years, and that shared history has shaped a close-knit culture built on trust, mentoring and backing each other when it counts.

We're appointing our first dedicated Office Manager. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a critical role at the centre of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Executive support: keeping our leaders organised and prepared. You'll manage the Managing Director's calendar, prepare agendas, take minutes and handle confidential matters. You'll also support our regional managers, including occasional travel to Victoria and Queensland.

2. Office and administration: keeping the business organised and running smoothly. You'll manage our document library, data and systems, maintain asset registers (laptops, vehicles, PPE and uniforms), run stock takes, source supplier quotes, book travel and accommodation, and coordinate client onboarding.

3. Events and relationships: a major part of the role. You'll plan and run everything from team catchups to client functions and sponsorship events such as footy and golf days. Most importantly, you'll help our people feel valued by tracking key dates and organising recognition and gifts for staff and clients.

4. LinkedIn and brand: owning how Greville presents itself. You'll manage our LinkedIn presence, work with our external graphic designer on all brand materials and prepare CVs and documents to our brand standard for proposals and tenders.

Who we're looking for

Greville is still being built, and much of this role is detailed work: spreadsheets, inboxes, follow-ups, and quotes, alongside EA support for a Managing Director whose week rarely goes to plan. Priorities change at short notice, and there often isn't a set process to follow.

Creating one is part of the job.

We're looking for someone who reads that and is drawn to it.

- You're looking for somewhere to commit to. You want a long-term role and see Greville's growth as something you'll be part of.

- You keep a steady head when plans change. You re-prioritise quickly and make sure nothing slips through.

- You can keep pace with a busy leader.

You think a step ahead and give the Managing Director confidence that the details are handled.

- You understand why the admin matters. Chasing a quote or updating a register is what makes an event run smoothly, a team well equipped and a client feel looked after.

- You're curious about the business. You want to know our people, our projects and what Greville stands for, because understanding the business helps you support it.

- You bring personality. For many staff and clients, you'll be a first point of contact and a big part of how Greville feels to work with.

What you'll bring

- Experience in an office management, executive assistant or similar role (highly regarded)

- Experience in construction, engineering or professional services (preferred but not essential)

- Strong organisation and attention to detail

- Clear, skilled written communication

- Confidence learning new systems

In this role, you'll work closely with our executive team, so your contribution will be visible, valued and directly connected to how the business runs. We treat each other like family, and we believe a healthy work environment is what drives our success: when people feel supported and enjoy where they work, they do their best work. As we grow, we want everyone at Greville to feel part of that journey and proud of what we're building together. As our Office Manager, you'll play a central role in shaping that culture.

How to apply
Send your CV. A cover letter is welcome but optional. If you don't tick every box but read the section above and thought "that's me," we'd still like to hear from you.
