Scientific Pest & Vegetation Management is looking for a Pest Management Technician to join our team servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial customers.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. You'll work across commercial facilities, warehouses, food manufacturing, government, Defence and other complex sites where pest management is about inspection, problem solving and prevention — not just applying chemicals.

The role

Reporting to the Technician Manager, you'll be responsible for:

- Delivering scheduled and reactive commercial pest management services;

- Inspecting sites, identifying pest activity and determining the likely cause;

- Recommending practical pest prevention and control solutions;

- Managing rodent monitoring systems, insect light traps, SPP monitoring, and other pest management equipment;

- Building strong relationships with customers and site contacts;

- Completing clear and accurate service reports and recommendations; and

- Managing your workload independently while being part of a supportive wider team.

What we're looking for

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical, comfortable working independently and takes pride in doing the job properly.

You'll need:





- A current Australian driver's licence;

- A Pest Management Technician licence;

- Strong communication and customer service skills;

- Valuable attention to detail and the ability to complete digital service documentation;

- A practical approach to problem solving; and

- The ability to work autonomously and manage your day effectively.

Previous experience in commercial pest management, food manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, government, Defence or other compliance-driven environments will be highly regarded.
