About the role

Peter Cremer Australia is seeking a capable, hands-on Logistics Manager to ensure goods move reliably, safely and cost-effectively across a complex international supply chain. You will coordinate the logistics, transport, warehousing and inventory activities that keep the operation running smoothly. You'll manage external service providers, monitor costs and performance, and identify practical ways to improve reliability, efficiency and value for money.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate daily logistics, transport and warehousing activities.
- Ensure goods, equipment and supplies are delivered on time and cost-effectively.
- Manage relationships and performance across trucking companies, shipping lines, freight forwarders and suppliers.
- Monitor logistics costs, budgets, inventory and operational performance.
- Support 3PL management and coordinate logistics for projects and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, transport and other relevant requirements.
- Identify and manage supply-chain and operational risks.
- Find opportunities to improve service, efficiency and value.

About you

- Experience in logistics, supply chain or operational management.




- Robust planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
- A sound understanding of inventory, procurement and transport processes.
- Confidence managing suppliers, 3PLs and external service providers.
- A high level of accountability, attention to detail and professional judgement.
- A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading logistics or operational teams, and familiarity with logistics, inventory or enterprise systems, will be an advantage.
