We are looking for an experienced Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead our team, build a strong centre culture, and help children, families, and educators thrive.

This is more than a role where you manage the day-to-day running of a centre. You’ll have the trust and support to lead your team, bring new ideas to life, grow your educators, and make a real difference in your community.

About the Role

As Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will lead the centre and help create a place where children feel secure, families feel welcome, and educators feel supported.

You will work closely with the Approved Provider, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and wider leadership team.

You will:

- Lead, support, and grow your team

- Build a positive and caring centre culture

- Make sure children receive high-quality care and learning

- Support educators to do their best work

- Build strong relationships with children and families

- Lead improvements and bring new ideas to life

- Oversee the day-to-day running of the centre

- Manage people, enrolments, compliance, and administration

- Help the centre grow through strong family and community relationships

- Develop future leaders within your team

- Promote child safety, inclusion, and wellbeing

- Lead with kindness, confidence, and professionalism

About You

You are an experienced leader who knows that great centres are built on strong relationships, happy teams, and high standards.

You will have:

- An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification

- Experience as a Centre Director, Assistant Director, or senior leader

- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards

- Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team

- Solid communication and people skills

- Good organisation and time management

- The ability to lead with confidence and care

- A passion for quality early learning

- A commitment to child safety and inclusion

- A current Working With Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates, or a willingness to obtain

It Would Be Great If You Have

- Experience leading a centre through Assessment and Rating

- Experience mentoring Educational Leaders, Teachers, and Room Leaders

- Experience in a faith-based or values-led organisation

- Experience leading centre improvement projects

- A passion for new ideas and better ways of working

- A strong interest in growing and supporting educators
