The Business Development role is responsible for all activities associated with storage and design solutions around customer fit outs and warehouse solutions. Other services include office fit outs, commercial and industrial make goods. This role is responsible for building on the client base as well as maintaining relationships with current key clients. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of the warehousing industry as well as experience in sales and quoting.

This role is accountable for presenting and selling all company products and services to current and potential clients, working with clients to come up with innovative solutions to meet the customer’s needs. Preparing proposals / quotes,



reports and schedules to identify specific requirements as well as assisting with project managing the work, including oversight of workforce planning and materials as required.

Following up on recent leads and referrals resulting from field activity, advertising or social media and any other source of possible new clients is also a key aspect of this role. Identifying sales prospects and contacts through cold calling and client visits, as well as maintaining current relationships to proactively foresee any potential upcoming work and opportunities. This role will also manage account services and projects through quality checks and other follow-up initiates as the speedy resolution of client concerns. Prepare status reports and updates as required by the Sales Manager including current status on projects and pipeline activity.
