About the role

We are looking for reliable, hardworking cleaners to support the delivery of cleaning services across residential properties throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. This is not standard commercial cleaning. You will be working in houses, apartments and other residential properties that need to be cleaned, restored and prepared either for trades to complete works or for a new resident to move in.

The work can be challenging, but it has a genuine purpose. The services we provide help return properties to a safe and presentable condition, supporting the broader effort to get people out of temporary accommodation and off the streets and into homes.

You will attend different properties throughout the day completing pre-trade cleans, detailed property cleans and pre-occupancy cleans. Some properties may require minor rubbish removal as part of the clean, however, larger or heavier waste removal will generally be supported by a separate waste team.

Attention to detail and communication is critical. The expectation is that each property is left clean, safe and ready for the next stage of works or for someone to call it home, and any issues are communicated ahead of time.

All equipment, consumables, and PPE will be provided. Up to full-time hours and a vehicle for the right candidates.

Key responsibilities

- Completing detailed cleans of houses, apartments and other residential properties.

- Completing pre-trade cleans to prepare properties for maintenance and repair works.

- Completing pre-occupancy cleans to ensure properties are ready for incoming residents.

- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, floors, windows and other internal areas.

- Removing minor rubbish and unwanted items where required – nothing can be left in these homes at the completion of our works.

- Identifying larger waste or items requiring support from labourers or specialist teams.

- Completing carpet cleaning, strip and seals, and other cleaning tasks where required.

- Attending multiple properties and service call-outs across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

- Completing each job to the required standard and within allocated timeframes.

- Taking pride in the presentation of each property and understanding the importance of the home being prepared for its next resident.

- Ability to drive a trailer will be advantageous although not mandatory.

About you

This role will suit someone who is practical, reliable and prepared to work hard. Every property is different, and some will require more work than others.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience in residential, exit, bond, restoration or similar detailed cleaning.

- A robust eye for detail and pride in leaving a property properly finished.

- The ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs and locations throughout the day.

- Good physical fitness and willingness to undertake hands-on cleaning and minor rubbish removal.

- The ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment and machinery.

- Good communication skills and a professional, respectful approach when working in residential environments.

- A current driver's licence and ability to travel between properties.

- A willingness to complete required police checks, client screening and other compliance requirements.

Most importantly, we are looking for people who understand and that the work you do matters. This contract directly supports people who need safe and reliable housing, and the standard you leave behind and your contribution matters.
