We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join an established Orthopaedic Practice in Spring Hill. This practice specialises in the field of Orthopaedics and Sports Injuries. This opportunity supports this practice which also offers Physiotherapy and other allied health services. Applicants seeking full-time, 9 day fortnight or 4 days per week are welcome to apply. However, there will need to be some flexibility with the day off each week to accommodate the needs of the practice.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Receptionist for this practice, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum, including but not limited to:

Medical Receptionist tasks in an Allied Health and Surgical Specialist Practice

Efficient diary management for the clinicians and surgeon, conducting clinics and booking procedures.

Handling surgical procedure quotations, coordinating anaesthetists and theatre case management and billing the same.

Candidate Requirements:





· Must have Medical Receptionist in a Specialist or Allied Health Practice within a Private Practice setting.

· Experience in Physiotherapy, Orthopaedics or surgical specialties (desirable).

· Proficiency in using medical software for patient bookings and coordination of Theatre Lists (Genie).

· Previous experience in diary management and PA duties, particularly for Sessional Suites, is highly favourable.

· Exceptional communication skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
Flexibility may also be required to accommodate patient care on clinic days. 9 Day fortnight is also available (day off to be negotiated). Applicants seeking 4 days per week are also welcome to apply. However, there will need to be some flexibility with the day off each week to accommodate the needs of the practice.

Commencement Date:

This role is available now. However, we are seeking the right fit to take on this chance. We are therefore prepared to wait to meet the timing requirements of the successful applicant.

Salary:

Competitive and commensurate with skills, expected to commence at $ 35-40/hr plus Super (Negotiable). Car park provided.
