About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced locksmith to join our South Geelong team. This varied, hands-on role combines locksmith services and hardware retail sales.

You will provide expert advice and friendly customer service, with availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

- Cut keys, key door locks alike.

- Prepare quotes for doors, door hardware and locksmith services.

- Advise customers on locks, door hardware and general hardware products.

- Process sales, incoming deliveries accurately.

- Check supplier confirmations, resolve delivery issues in coordination with other Mitre 10 locations, staff and logistics, while supporting stores with overflow quoting, orders and enquiries as required. This role is based in South Geelong.

- Maintain stock, displays, pricing and department presentation.

- Assist with loading purchases and moving stock safely.





- Maintain accurate records.

- Follow all Safety, Health and Environment procedures.

About You

- Qualified and experienced locksmith with practical problem-solving skills.

- Honest, reliable and personable, with strong customer service and communication skills.

- Strong IT skills, organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small, diverse team.

- Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment and able to safely handle stock.
